The choices we make
It turns out whenever we miss our target we sin. According to scholars, the origin of the word sin means missing the target. I’ve been missing my targets my whole life. But every time I miss I adjust myself accordingly, so the next time I can be a bit closer to what I aim. The reasons why I miss my target could be many, both external and internal. But I take full responsibility for everything that has happened to me. It is the only way to get better.
My only aim is to contribute to the betterment of humanity. I think I am close to my target more than ever. During the covid confinement I decided to put my efforts on the climate change problem and I came up with a solution to avoid flush floods and droughts. Unfortunately, droughts are still occurring globally, which means people are not convinced by my suggestions. Last year, there were plenty of cases of flush floods in Europe and I wrote an open letter to the UN. Hopefully, there won’t be any floods this year, but the problem is I don’t know if they took action or not.
Another communication won’t be helpful, because I think, people consider me like that boy in the story with wolves. Therefore, I need to work practically on the solution to increase my credibility. If the leaders who I wrote to, decide to include my solution, I would be happy to work fulltime on that solution with them for 2–5 years or at least participate in the beginning.
